Palau de la Música Catalana

Designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner in the Catalan modernista style, this concert hall was built between 1905 and 1908 for the choral society Orfeó Català, a key force in the Catalan cultural revival known as the Renaixença.

Look up at the central skylight: a stained-glass inverted dome by Antoni Rigalt i Blanch, flooded with natural light by day. For the best view, book a guided tour or attend a concert.
