The Círculo de Bellas Artes is a private, non-profit cultural organization founded in 1880, its building declared a Bien de Interés Cultural in 1981. It hosts exhibitions, theater, and concerts in the heart of Madrid.
Look up at the sculpted allegories on the facade, then take the elevator to the rooftop terrace. From there, you get a sweeping view of Gran Vía and the Metropolis Building dome. Go just before sunset for the best light.
