Jardines de Sabatini
Plaza de la Armería · 25 min walk
The Jardines de Sabatini are formal neoclassical gardens built in the 1930s on the site of the Royal Palace's former stables. They frame the north facade of the Royal Palace, the largest royal palace in Europe by floor area.
Look for the symmetrical parterres and fountains aligned with the palace's central axis. The best spot is the central promenade for a full-frontal photo of the palace. Visit at golden hour, when the light warms the stone.
