Sagrada Família

A colossal unfinished Catholic church designed by Antoni Gaudí, under construction since 1882. Consecrated by Pope Benedict XVI in 2010 and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2005.

Look for the contrast between the ornate Nativity facade and the more abstract Passion facade. For the classic photo, cross the small lake in the park opposite to capture the reflection. Visit early morning or late afternoon for softer light on the stone.
